Summer Learning Journey - Celebrating Summer - Week 3 Day 5 - Which Face is Real

Welcome back to another post, Bloggers! Today's task we had to play a little game to see Which Face Is Real. It was a bit challenging because both of the faces that were there looked like they were real but one of them was fake. We had to put both images onto a google drawing and then find how each image is different. We also had to make a screencastify showing how to see if an image is real or fake.

Summer Learning Journey - Celebrating Summer - Week 3 Day 4 - Giuseppe Arcimboldo

Welcome back to another post! Today's post is about art. We had to find out who the artist is that has made art into fruit, (I mean making faces and people out of fruit, animals and plants!). We had to create our own version. I made a picture on a piece of paper and one on a google drawing. We also had to create a screencastify answering "How did Giuseppe Arcimboldo inspire me to create my art work?" Here is the 2 drawings:

Summer Learning Journey - Celebrating Summer - Week 3 Day 3 - Tama-nui-te-rā

Hoki mai ano ki tetahi atu o nga korero!! "Welcome back to another post" in Te Reo Maori. Today we had to make our own word art based on words from one of the proverbs. And for the Step It up Task we had to make another one with words that were important for us. The first one the shape I did the word art in was a sun. And then the other one I did hands making a heart. I decided to put the images on a slideshow.

Kia Ora bloggers and welcome back to another post! Today we are talking about tastes of Summer! We had to make a food collage of Summer Tastes, we had to think of what food make us and our Whanau think of about Summer. Then we had to describe at least three of the images we put in the collage. For the step up challenge, we had to say why we liked the foods using different coloured callouts.

The walls we tried first and even with one rock it didn't work!Next we tried the triangular ones and it worked with two rocks. then we used the circular columns. This column was the strongest because it could hold two food cans, (with food in it) and two rocks!!
