Summer Learning Journey - Romeo and Juliet

Hello Bloggers.

Today I have read a little bit about William Shakespeare.  He wrote in his own English style.  I have to translate a sentence from Shakespearean English to modern day English.

Here it the Shakespearean English:

During the summer holidaie I always wend swimming at the locall pool and hast a hokeie pokeie iceth cream coneth on the waie hometh.

And my modern day English translation:

During the summer holiday, I always went swimming at the local pool and had a hokey pokey ice cream cone on the way home.

Week 4 Day 1 Activity 2- Guardians of the Sea

On this post I have to say if I believe in taniwhas or not.

I believe in taniwhas because I am Maori and taniwhas are talked about in our myths and legends. If I ever see a taniwha I would tell my friends. The taniwhas have sharp teeth so you don't want to swim in the Waikato River because the taniwhas were in the in the river first.
