Welcome to the first day of my Summer Learning Journey Celebrating Summer!

Today I had to watch a video from Nanogirl. She told me about treasure hunt around my house for things to use for an upcoming experiment. Check out my video of me finding items around my house.

Here are the treasures I found.

What do you think I could make with these items??

What a great start! Im wondering if you might make a rocket of some form. Has Nanogirl given you any clues yet? I will be checking in to see what you make later in your journey.

I love the description of the items you found. I also loved the way you presented your video. Do you have any ideas of what you might be making?

    I'll check back soon.

    1. Hi Mum.

Nanogirl told us we would be needing supplies for a Super Hero experiment. I'm not quite sure what things we will be making yet.

I'm Excited to see what we are making!!

      Bye!

  2. Mōrena Maddison,

It’s Charlotte here, a commenter for the Manaiakalani Summer Learning Journey. WOW, the post you made about the Nanogirl treasure hunt was awesome!

I thought the things you collected for your treasure hunt were so cool! You could definitely use these items to create your superpowers! What are some things you can think of making out of your materials?

I liked how you included a question at the end of your post, I think that this will engage your viewers and hopefully you will get some great comments and ideas about what you can create!

  4. Kia ora Maddison, Well done sourcing all your supplies. Clever use of speed and music in your video too!

You have really stepped it up with your image. Often bloggers will share an image only. Adding labels and arrows to your image in this post is not only helpful but also encourages the reader to focus on the elements of the image and the information you are sharing.
