Summer Learning Journey - Celebrating Summer - Week 1 Day 4 - Rise Up

Welcome back to my blog. After watching a video of Mangere College's song  We Will Rise, I had to create my own chorus for a song.  I did find this quite hard to start with.  I wasn't sure where to start.  After some time I finally got an idea.  Here is my finished chorus:

For the Step It Up challenge I had to sing the chorus or recite as a poem with someone else or on your own. I thought it would be fun to do with my sister.  Here is the video of me and my sister singing it:

Summer Learning Journey - Celebrating Summer - Week 1 Day 4 - What are you doing today?

Welcome back to my blog.  

For this activity I had to learn some Te Reo Maori.

Firstly I had to complete some activities learning how to say 'What are you doing today?' and how to respond to this questions.  Check out my slide to see what I learnt.

 Next I had to draw a picture of my whanau and myself doing what I answered in one of the slides about what I am doing today.  My answer was I am going to the beach.

Finally, I had to make a screencastify of me practising with someone in my whanau. I chose to do this with my little sister, Leeya.
