She thought it wasn't fair for white and black people, to not be able to sit next to each other. People were not being treated as equals. In protest she stayed in her seat, even when asked to move for a white passenger. She was very brave and strong, as she stayed in that seat for her entire ride. Because of her actions and many others, today most people are being treated as equals
Blog you later!
Afternoon Maddison,
ReplyDeleteWhat a brave woman she was. She stood up for what she believed in. It is hard in this big world of ours, as there are still people out there that don't treat others equally. As long as we remember and treat everyone the way we want to be treated. We are all one.
Do you think you could have been brave like her on that bus?
xx
Mum
I would be really brave like her. I always wanted to be a hero at school when I was little.

Tālofa Lava Maddison,
ReplyDeleteThank you for completing Week 2, Day Two, Activity Three. I enjoyed reading your response to this activity about Martin Luther King JR Rosa Parks and the events that occurred in America during their time.
I like the way you have written about the problem Rosa Parks faced all those years ago on the bus. You have spoken about it in a lot of detail and it is clear that you have thought hard about what you wanted to write. I too think she was extremely brave and strong for what she did and this caused a major shift during this time, she really made history!
Rosa Parks was such a brave woman for doing what she did, If she was alive, what is one question you would ask her?
Kueni :)
Hello Maddison,
ReplyDeleteOnce again I have met with another extraordinary blog post. By the way, are you having a phenomenal day? I 100% am! I really enjoyed reading this blog post. Here are some reasons why. Firstly, I really like how you included an image of Rosa Parks. I also like how you explained what she did and what you thought of it. Personally, I agree with you that what Rosa Parks did was really brave and amazing because if she hadn't stood up, maybe now we would've still been following those rules. Maybe next time you could add a bit of information about what this activity taught you. Overall, this is a phenomenal blog post! Keep up the astonishing work!
