Summer Learning Journey - The Right To Vote
Kia Ora blogger's. Today's blog is about Kate Sheppard, I have to imagine that the NZ government has decided to create a new $10 bank note. They want to replace Kate with a picture of a different NZ women. The women I choose is Jacinda Ardern. She is our Prime Minister and she is making our country a better place to live. ReplyDeleteWhat a great choice to be on the $10. Jacinda Ardern has implemented so many changes to help our country. She is also the World's Youngest Female Leader.
Did you know Helen Clark was the first Female Prime Minister in NZ. Kristen Bartlett was named New Zealander of the Year in 2018 for her victory for pay equality. We are very lucky to have some inspirational women in NZ, who have fought to make life better for us.

I find it really awesome that you have chosen Jacinda Ardern, especially because she has been apart of our activities and because she is out Prime Minister. Also well done on explaining why you would choose her, it is so lovely to see that she is someone that you look up to.
If I could choose someone to go on the $10 note it would have to be Helen Clark. I think she is such an inspirational woman and she has done so much with her life including working for the United Nations (UN).

ReplyDeleteWhat an amazing choice. By the way are you having an amazing day? I 100% am. I really like how you added a picture of Jacinda Ardern to make the blog post way more interesting! I also like how you explained why she should be on the 10$ note. If I had to chose someone to be on the 10$ note it would be between Jacinda Ardern or Jean Batten. They both have done incredible things. Maybe next time you could add a bit more information about the base of the activity. Overall, this is a phenomenal blog post! Keep up the astonishing work!
