For this blog post I have to imagine I went on a school trip to Tundra and write a letter to a friend telling them about it.
Here is my letter:
Dear Megan
My class and I went to Tundra on a trip. It was a very cold place, almost like sitting in a freezer. Lucky we took our warm clothes.
One thing I noticed was that there wasn't any trees around. I found this very different to our home, where there are trees everywhere. There also wasn't many animals around.
I am glad to be back home where it is warmer, lots of trees and animals.

Right now in Ottawa it's like sitting in a freezer and I wish I was in the warm.

I really enjoyed reading the letter that you wrote to your friend Megan from the tundra. You really painted a picture with your words when you said it was "cold like a freezer" BRRRRRR! Would you like to visit the tundra for real one day?
It looks like you've been putting a lot of effort into your posts - ka pai! Keep up the awesome work Maddison, and I look forward to reading more of your posts soon.
Hazel :)
Hi Maddison,
ReplyDeleteOn days like today (currently a very hot day in the middle of summer) would be great in Tundra where it is a lot colder. Glad to see you had taken warmer clothes with you.
I agree with you being at home where it is warm and we have lots of greenery around. I couldn't imagine living somewhere with minimal greenery.
