Week 1 Day 4 Activity 1-Scaling New Heights

For my next blog post
I have to write 5 question if I would  meet Edmund Hillary in real life

Here are my questions

1: When did you climbed Mt Everest, what food did you have?

2: What day did you start climbing Mt Everest?

3: How many days did it take to climb Mt Everest?

4: Where is Mt Everest?

5: What did you take with you to Mt Everest?

If you want to you can answer the questions.
But be sure to check out my blog for more
posts.

Thank you and enjoy the rest of your day!

  1. Good afternoon Maddison,

My name is Georgia and I am the Kaikohekohe (Northland) Cluster Manager. You have been doing an incredible job at completing SLJ activities, I hope you are very proud of yourself!

I really enjoyed reading your questions for Sir Edmund Hillary. The answer to question 4 is Nepal. Mt Everest is located in Nepal. Have you heard of Nepal before? Why don't you try and find a map with Nepal on it using google.

Hope you are having a lovely holiday Maddison.
    Nga mihi, Georgia.

  2. Hi Maddison,

You have come up with some great answers. From what I know Sir Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay started on their expedition in March 1953 and reached the summit on May 29th 1953. It took approx 7 weeks for them to climb to the top.

Like Georgia has said Mt Everest is in Nepal.

    Keep up the great work!!
    Mum
