Week 1 Day 3 Activity 3 - The WWF - World Wildlife Fund

This is my 3rd activity for Week 1 Day 4

The World Wildlife Fund is trying to save the Saimaa Ringed Seal.  They are doing this by building snow banks for the seals to give birth to their pups. This gives the seals and their pups protection from predators.

They are having some success but need a long term plan to protect the seals.

    Hello Madison,
    I am very happy to see you participating in the Summer Learning Journey, because the environment is very important to us. The seals little pups are left to grow, and so sometimes predators eat them. We could maybe protect the pups by making a safe area for them to lay their seal babies. Maybe next time you could add more information about this, because it is interesting.

    Hello Madison,

    I am Vitaraag. I am glad that you care about the seals. I am also glad that you are interested about their plan to save them. I think a way that the seals can be saved is if we stop global warming because it is melting all the ice on the Earth and soon life like polar bears and things like that will die. Maybe next time you could say some other plans that they can use to help the seals.
