Homemade Sherbet

Kia Ora bloggers. Today I will be talking about how we made sherbet. Do you know what sherbet is actually made for? It is sometimes made for lollipops for you to dip it in the sherbet. To make it, all you need is a tsp (teaspoon), tbsp (Tablespoon), Icing sugar, baking soda, a small container, any flavour of jelly crystals and citric acid. Here are the steps on how to make it.

Here is the video of me trying it.

  1. Kia ora Maddison. That is so cool. I have never heard of sherbet before. Did you eat it with a lolly pop? Thank you for putting down the instructions and ingrediants to make it. I'd like to have a go at making it but first, was it nice? Um, I can't go onto the slideshow because I don't have access. I might ask my mum for more information about sherbet. Was this part of your homework? I like the GIF you added. It is super cool. To be honest, you never stop amazing me with your blog posts. I am truely glad your blogging.

Thanks for sharing Maddison. Make sure to comment on your classmates posts too.
    Bye!!!👋👋👋

  2. Hi Maddison, wow - you've just brought back some childhood memories of mine! We used to be able to buy a bag of sherbet, it came with a stick of liquorice inside it. You would have to lick the liquorice to make it wet, dip it in the sherbet and then the sherbet would stick to the liquorice and you could lick it off. You were supposed to eat the liquorice at the end, but I always threw it away because it tasted disgusting to me. I think my face always looked like yours when I ate the sherbet - it has that effect that sour sweets have also, doesn't it. Thanks for sharing your learning with us again. You are finding such varied things to do during our time away from school. Ka pai Maddison, you are demonstrating fabulous learning. :-)
