Summer Learning Journey - The World Wide Web

Kia Ora blogger’s. Today’s blog is a little bit about Tim Berners-Lee, did you know that he made the 1st ever website.   Could you imagine being in 1970 with no internet??  That is exactly what I need to do.  How boring would life be.  No YouTube, Netflix or Spotify.  How would I keep myself entertained??

Blog you later!

  2. Tēnā Koe Maddison,

Another awesome blog post today! You are very creative, I love the little google drawing you have created for yourself about the things you could do if there was no internet. I really like the ideas you have shared, I can really tell you have taken the time to really think about them.

This activity asks you to share 3 websites you use at either school or home to help support your learning, see if you can see this information in the grey section underneath the information about Tim Berners-Lee. Have another go at this activity by taking screenshots of these websites and making them into a poster to share on your blog.

I look forward to seeing your response to this activity.

    Ka kite ano for now,
    Kueni

    1. Hi Kueni,

Due to our limited internet access over this years journey, I printed the offline version for her to do the posts until we got back to internet. Unfortunately the offline version did not mention this. I wonder how many other parts she may have missed.

She has had so much fun completing this.

      Thanks
      Romana

  3. Hello Maddison,
Vitaraag here, I hope you are having an amazing day! Are you having an amazing day? I kinda am. I woke up with a puffy red eye. Anyways, I really enjoyed reading this blog post! Let me elaborate on why I like it. Firstly, you added some back story to the activity. Secondly, you made it look like you were answering the questions in your head. I feel like living in the olden days is better. People don't have as much screen time. Maybe next time you could focus a little more on the activity. Overall, this is a phenomenal blog post! Keep up the astonishing work!
