Summer Learning Journey - Hidden Figures

Kia Ora blogger's. Today's blog is about NASA. Another maths problem.  I have to imagine that the NASA is making a new rocket ship that will take 3 people to the moon. The rocket ship can travel at 400 kilometres (km) per hour. How far will it go in 4 hour's.

This is how I worked it out:

Let's say that 4 x 4 =16
It's just like 2 x 8 = 16
If we put 16 in hundreds then it would be 1600 km per 4 hour's.

Blog you later!

  1. Tālofa Lava Maddison,

Well done on having a go at completing Week 3, Day 2, Activity 3: Hidden Figures. This activity asks you to go to the coding website → https://studio.code.org/s/artist/stage/1/puzzle/1

Once you get to this website you can have a play, follow the instructions to make one or a few shapes. Your next step is to screenshot your completed shape and then write about what you thought of the website and share your screenshot and what you think of the website on your blog.

Have another go at this activity and I'll come back to check on it soon.

    Keep up the hard work!

    Tofā Soifua,
    Kueni.

  2. Hey Maddison,

Well done on completing this challenge, I know Maths is not one of your favourite subjects. It appears the offline version which I printed out for you to follow, was different to the online version. So my apology to you for not having all the information for you to complete all the tasks to the fullest.

    xx
    Mum
