Summer Learning Journey - Apple vs Microsoft

Kia Ora blogger’s. Do you know the difference between a Traditional English Breakfast and a Continental Breakfast??

A Traditional English Breakfast has bacon, eggs, beans, fried mushrooms and toast.  A Continental Breakfast has cereal, yoghurt, fruit, croissants, and muffins.

I have to choose which one I would prefer.  Such a hard decision.  I think I would have to go with a Traditional English Breakfast because I LOVE Bacon!!!  Who doesn't?

Bacon, Ham, Food, Delicious, Nutrition, Red, Smoked

Breakfast Eggs And Bacon

Do you agree??
Blog you later!

  1. Good Morning Maddison,

Thank you for completing another Summer Learning Journey activity today, you are very close to finishing. You have until Friday the 24th of January to get as many activities as you can done, so keep pushing, you got this!

I really enjoyed reading your blog post today about the difference between a traditional english breakfast and a continental breakfast. I am a very picky eater and it depends on my appetite and how I feel when I decide between the two of these kinds of breakfasts but if I had to choose I would go for a traditional english breakfast too!

This activity also asks you to find one more rivalry, what is another one you think of, it doesn’t have to be food, it could be a clothing brand, shoe brand, movies etc. Let me know when you think of another one and i’ll come check it out :)

    Have a lovely Tuesday,
    Kueni :)

    1. Afternoon Kueni,

It appears that the offline and online versions are slightly different. It does appear that Maddison has missed a few components. This is a shame.

      Regards
      Romana

    2. Hi Romana,

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. I hope you have had a lovely time over summer. Thank you for letting us know that Maddison has been completing the downloadable programme. I am so sorry the SLJ team has not picked this up. As we haven't had any Ako Hiko participants using this programme we're not so up to date with what the activities entail.

Today I am going through all the activities and tallying the points so I will be cross checking Maddison's posts to make sure she gets the full points where we have made a mistake.

I am so proud of how much effort she has put into the programme. Again, thank you so much for all the support and investment you have put into Maddison's learning over the summer.

Looking forward to seeing her at Waikowhai in the next few weeks.

      All the best,
      Megan :)
