Week 2 Day 1 Activity 3 - Something Smells Fishy

On this blog post I have to write 5 facts about fish and in capital letters I need to write true or false.

The five facts are:
1. The oldest known fish in the world is a 65 year old Australian lungfish. TRUE!
2. Sharks are the only fish that have eyelids. TRUE!
3. Starfish are a type of fish. FALSE!
4. Fish communicate with each other by making low-pitched sounds. TRUE!
5. Fish usually swim together in groups called ‘classes. FALSE!

Do you think they are true or false?

  1. Malo e lelei Maddison,

Ka pai for successfully working out 2/5 of the true or false statements. Perhaps next time you could include some factual information to support why each of the statements is either true or false.

A friendly reminder; remember that the link to 'cool facts about fish' will help you answer all of these statements correctly.

Please revisit the site and revise (re-check) which answers are incorrect, then update your post. I will be happy to reward you with full points for this activity once you have answered all of these correctly. :)

After reading this activity it reminded me of the last time i went to Kelly Tarlton's Aquarium. I got to touch some of the starfish in the rock pools, it's pretty cool seeing marine life up close and personal. Have you ever been to Kelly Tarlton's Aquarium before?

I look forward to reading your edited post. :)

    Toe feiloa'i fo'i,

    Cia.
