Maths - Baking!!

Kia Ora bloggers. Today for maths I got to do some baking. My Dad and I baked a butter cake, afghan biscuits and shortbread. The cake is very yum. It has lemon curd on the bottom layer of the cake. I made a slideshow about the steps I did in our baking of the cake. The cake took ages to cook in the oven. Here is the slideshow.

Here is the link to the slideshow.

Blog You Later!! :)

  1. Hi Maddison, yummmmmm, lemon curd is a favourite of mine! My mum used to make it all the time when I was young. I loved it on white bread! A cake with it in sounds absolutely wonderful! Could you perhaps post the recipe? I liked the way you showed the ingredients in a slide. It would be great to know the anounts of each and the method. Others reading your blog may like to try making it. I sure would! My mouth is watering just thinking about it?
Keep up the great effort with distance learning and I will see you at school soon.

  2. Hi Maddison.
I liked your slideshow. It was cool seeing all the pictures of how you made the cake. It looks yum. I helped my mum make a banana cake. Have you made a banana cake before?

  3. Thanks for sharing this Maddison.
I know your dad loved spending time with you and showing you different things to bake. This is a special memory for him, because his nan taught him lots of tips and tricks with baking. It would have meant a lot to him, showing and sharing these with you.
What was your favourite part of this experience?
