Dawn Service for ANZAC

Kia Ora bloggers. For this post I will be talking about the dawn parade on Saturday. Do you know why we are doing the dawn parade? Because we are remembering the soldier who have served for our country in many wars, but in particular the First World War in Gallipoli.

We chose to wear our St John Cadet uniforms as we normally take part in an ANZAC parade.  This year due to lockdown, we were unable to.  We continued to honour our commitment to St John and to honour the fallen.

Did you get up at six o'clock in the morning? I did. Here are some photos of my family and I standing at our letterbox listening to the dawn service.
