Kia Ora Bloggers! This Week is the first Week for the Summer Learning Journey. Day 1: Exploring the world Activity 1: Setting Sail. I am doing a food list to take with Nianoa for 3 weeks. The only things that I am not allowed to take or will not be with Nianoa & I is a fridge or a freezer. One of the things I thought to take was an Ice - Block but when I put it on my list I said to myself that I have to use a freezer to have an Ice - Block. Here is my list of food to take to Nianoa.
Blog you later!
Mōrena Maddison, I hope you are having a groovy day!
ReplyDeleteMy name is Eliza and I’m working as a blog commenter on the Summer Learning Journey this summer. Have you done the Summer Learning Journey before? I’m looking forward to reading your posts and the other bloggers' posts from the Ako Hiko cluster, over the next few weeks! If you want to know more about me, you can check out my blog.
Thank you for doing week one, day one, activity one! The food items you’ve listed sound delicious and the bottles of water are very practical - you wouldn’t want to get dehydrated on the voyage! I would definitely take sushi too, it's one of my favourite foods. I also love nachos and thai food :)
Have you ever spent time in a canoe or kayak? Do you think you’d like to do a three-week ocean voyage?
Keep up the awesome mahi! I look forward to reading more of your posts over the summer :)
Eliza.
Hey, Eliza. I would really love to do a three-week ocean voyage, and I have done the Summer Learning Journey before, I did it last year with my brother, Sam, he's doing it this year as well with me. Have fun reading the other post's.

Hi Maddison, Exciting another Summer Learning journey. I am looking forward to seeing where this journey takes you.
ReplyDeleteYou have come up with some great ideas of food to take on your voyage. It would be such a fascinating adventure to go on.
I would take some similar items to what you have stated. Water is definitely a good one to have on the list. You can do so much with this. Fruit and Veges would also be next. Coffee would have to make an appearance on my list too, but not a necessity. Protein bars would be a good source of energy, also easy to store. Nuts and seeds.
The cheese and sushi may be a bit difficult as you could need a fridge or chilly bin to keep these fresh. You could make your own sushi. Taking Rice, Seaweed and catching your own fish.
Keep up the great work. I look forward to reading more of your blog.
