On this blog post I have to write 5 questions that I would Dame Suzie Moncrieff.
Here are the questions:
1. How did you make the paper dress?
2. Where do you live?
3. How long have you been making recycled clothes?
4. Why did you start making recycled clothes?
5. How long does it take to make paper clothes?

Hi Maddison,
ReplyDeleteIt's Leslie here, reading your blog from my home in Canada as a member of the Summer Learning Journey team. I'm reading your questions for Dame Moncrieff and some of them are the same as those that I would ask her.
I too wonder about how long it takes Dame Moncrieff to create her pieces. And I wonder what she does with them once the WOW event is over each year. Have you ever been to the WOW show? I understand that it's really really interesting to see what people can make out of all the recycled materials. I can only imagine!!
Do you like to sew or do hand crafts? I knit and do counted cross-stitch, and I like to sew pillows and baby blankets. I know how long it takes me to make something so I can only guess how long it would take an artist to create a gown out of paper or plastic or metal cans... I also wonder how comfortable some of these garments might be.
Perhaps one day you'll visit WOW, if you haven't already. Meanwhile, I hope you're having a super summer! I'm so glad that you've chosen to participate in this Summer Learning Journey program.
Cheers,
Leslie
