Week 3 Day 4 Activity 1 - The Southern Lights

On this post I have to write an acrostic poem using the word `LIGHTS'.

The acrostic poem is:

Light and colourful
Incredibly Bright
Going outside to see the lights
Having a light is great when its dark inside, outside and where ever you go
Taking a seat on a bench
Staring at the lights like you've never seen them before.

Thanks for reading my acrostic poem, be sure to check my blog out for more of my Summer Learning Journey.

  1. Hi Maddison,

It's Leslie here, reading your blog from my home in wintry Canada as a member of the Summer Learning Journey team. You've created a super acrostic poem using the word Lights. Good for you!!

Have you ever seen the Southern Lights? We have the Northern Lights in Canada, of course, since we're on the other side of the world. I actually live a little bit too far south to see them most of the time but I have been lucky twice. They were like waving bands of green colour, floating in the dark night sky. They were magical!!!

I hope you'll have a chance to see your Southern Lights one day, if you haven't already. And I hope you're having a really nice summer time!!

I'll continue to read your blog.

    Cheers,

    Leslie
