On this post I have to list 5 things that can keep ourselves safe from the sun.

Here are the protective things to keep your self safe this summer is to:

1. Slip into any shade like under a tree or under an umbrella.

2. Slop half a teaspoon of sunscreen on your face, neck and ears.
3. Wrap sunglasses on that fits you.
4. Slip on a shirt with long sleeves.
5. Slap on a hat

  1. Hey Maddison,

It sounds like you are very used to going out in the New Zealand sun. You have shared some great tips on how to stay smart in the sun this summer. I was really interested to read about your tip to 'Slop half a teaspoon of sunscreen on your face, neck and ears'. Where do you find this tip?

When I am in the sun, I make sure I always have a hat with me. I have relatively thin hair, so my scalp always seems to get burnt. This is something that catches a lot of people out as you can't get sunblock onto your scalp.

Thank you for sharing some great tips, I will make sure to remember these when I am out in the sun this weekend.

    Bye for now,
    Megan :)

  2. Hi Maddison,

Yes this is very important, especially when our Summers are getting hotter and hotter. I have to especially careful to make sure I always have sunscreen on as I am quite fair skinned and I burn easily.

I found the half a teaspoons on your face, neck and ears interesting, where did you find this information from?

    Awesome Blog
