The 1st fact I found was New Zealand's forest only covers 30% of our country.
My 2nd fact is that 100kg of butter and 65kg of cheese is made every year for every person that lives in New Zealand.
My 3rd fact is that 'Once were Warriors', 'Lord of the Rings', ' The Whale Rider', and 'The Piano' are some of the most popular films in the country.

Very interesting facts Maddison, I think I’ve eaten my entire share of butter and cheese this year.
ReplyDeleteWhat does butter and cheese have to do with my blog?
ReplyDeleteKia ora Maddison,
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on completing your very first Summer Learning Journey activity. I have been blown away to see how many activities you have completed in the last few weeks. I want to start by apologising for missing your activities that you have been posting. I was looking forward to receiving you Google Doc but am far more excited to see that you have been using your blog site. I cannot wait to make my way through all of your activities and read what you have been working on.
You have found three really interesting facts about New Zealand. I also found it amazing that the dairy farms in New Zealand produce 100kg of butter for every person that lives here. So, that means that the farms make 400 million kgs of butter every year. That is a tremendous amount of butter. Do you know whether all this butter stays in New Zealand for us Kiwi's to eat? I do eat a lot of butter but I highly doubt that I consume 100 kgs in a year.
I am so proud of you for being so motivated and completing so many activities. Get ready to be inundated by comments from our team.
Keep up the awesome work, Maddison.
Kindest regards,
Megan :)
