I would choose to interview Steven Adams, and these are the questions I would ask.
1. How many years have you been playing Basket Ball?
2. How old were you when you started having lessons for Basket Ball?
3. How did you get to the NBA?
Would you ask different questions? What do you think his answers might be?
See you in my next Blog.
Did you hear that?? I think NewsHub were calling to see if you could be a news reporter for them.
ReplyDeleteThese are great questions. I would be interested to know what he may have answered. I could take a guess
1. I would say he has been playing since he was a kid, so a long time.
2. Lessons he probably started when he was at school, maybe intermediate so 11 years old.
3. NBA would have people they call scouts, who go along to school and club games and look for potential players. They would have seen how amazing he was at basketball. They would have spoken to him and asked him to join.
Do you think my answers would be close to his?

Tena Koe Maddison,
ReplyDeleteKei te pai on an awesome blog post about the 3 questions you would ask Steven Adams. I still find it so cool that he is a New Zealander over in America playing basketball alongside the biggest NBA stars of all time!
I really like that you have chosen questions that will make Steven Adams really think about his answers as some of the things you are asking him are quite deep and intellectual questions, so ka pai keep up the hard work.
If I were to ask questions to one of these basketball players I would ask them who their biggest role model in their lives is. Do you watch basketball very often? If so, which team is your favourite and who is your favourite player?
Blog ya later Maddison!
