Summer Learning Journey - Rights and Wrongs

Kia Ora blogger's. This activity I have to do a little bit of maths. I have to figure out how many years until I am 25.

Here is my answer and a video of how I worked it out:

I was born in 2009, if you add 25 years to that you get 2034

2009 + 25 = 2034
2034 - 2020 = 14

Because my birthday is in November, it is almost 15 years until I turn 25.

  1. Hey Maddison,

I love that you chose to do a video for this blog. It's great reading all your blogs, but even better being able to see you and hearing what you have to say. You should do them more often.

Thinking about when I was 25. Seems so long ago now. 25 is how old I was when I had Samuel. Almost 12 years ago.

What do you think you will be doing when you turn 25?

    Happy Blogging

  2. Hello Maddison.

Pao is here again, I very like this blog post aswell. I like the lovely screecastify that you did to explain what you had to explain. I also think this blog post needs no change. Keep it up:)

  3. Tēnā Koe Maddison,

Well done on sharing how your worked out the equation for this activity. You explained how you got your answer clearly and made it easy for people who might want to work it out themselves, ka pai! I also really liked that you chose to video yourself for this activity, not many people have done it but I think it’s pretty awesome!

Did you find this activity at all difficult? I was always better at, and preferred writing and reading over maths. Which do you prefer?

    1. Hey Sam,

It is so nice to see that you have returned to the blogging world this summer. If only you could participate in the Summer Learning Journey. However, I really like that you have come to support Maddison on her journey. Hasn't she done amazingly?

I hope you have enjoyed your year at Waikowhai Intermediate. I cannot beleive you are in your final year and then you will be off to college.

      All the best, Sam.

      Megan :)
