Big Foot Bike

Big Foot Bike Adventures

Kia Ora bloggers. This Term we have been doing Big Foot Bike training. We had so much fun. We learnt how to use both brakes, the left and right brake. The left brake is to stop the back wheel, and the right brake is to stop the front wheel. We also learnt how to ride around 4 cones. It was difficult for me because I kept on slowing down and holding up everyone in my class. My class was doing the Big Foot Bike Adventures after morning tea and after lunch. When our instructors say red light and we have to stop and use our brakes, I kept on falling off the bike that I was riding.  If you are riding on the road you have to wear a bright vest and on the back of the seat on your bike has to have a reflect light, because if you are riding in the dark the lights on the car can reflect to the driver. You also have to wear a bright helmet.

I really enjoyed riding a bike because I haven't ridden a bike in a long time.

Kia Ora bloggers! This Week we had Athletics. It was an amazing day. There were a lot of of activities like; Sprints, Long Jump, High Jump, Sprints Watching, Team Building, Tennis, Throw Putt, Fun Run - 200 m, Hurdles and House Relays. It was the best day ever! There were Year Groups, 5 yrs Boy's & Girl's, 6 yrs Boy's & Girl's,  7 yrs Boy's & Girl's, 8 yrs Boy's & Girl's, 9 yrs Boy's & Girl's, 10/11 yrs Boy's & Girl's. In the House Relays Pukeko came 1st, Ruru and Kea came 2nd and Tui came 3rd, but Pukeko had the most points throughout the day. My favourite activity was the Team Building. The activity that I got really tired was the 200 m run.

Blog you later!
